Apple Plans to Update AirPods with New Feature
Apple is working on some updates for its AirPods. There’s talk that they might add a feature called ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) to the regular AirPods next year. ANC helps to block out background noise, so you can listen to music or talk on the phone more clearly. This news comes from a report by Bloomberg. So, if you like Apple’s AirPods, they might get even better soon!
Apple has some big plans for its AirPods in the next few years, says a report from Bloomberg. Here’s what we might see:
- New AirPods in 2024: Apple is thinking of bringing out new “regular” AirPods and AirPods Max headphones next year.
- AirPods Pro in 2025: A fresh version of the AirPods Pro is expected to come out in 2025.
Right now, Apple sells two main types of AirPods. One came out in 2019 and costs $129. The other, a newer version from 2021, costs $169 and has some cool features like a new look, longer battery, wireless charging, and better sound. But, many people still like the older, cheaper one or the noise-blocking AirPods Pro.
Because of this, Apple might bring two new AirPods in 2024. They will look a bit like the 2021 AirPods and the AirPods Pro. The pricier one will have noise-blocking and a special case that makes sounds to help find them. Both will fit better in the ear, but they won’t have tips that can be changed. Also, they will use USB-C for charging.
There’s also talk about new over-ear headphones, the AirPods Max, coming next year. They might have some new colors and will also use USB-C for charging.
Lastly, in 2025, we might see a new AirPods Pro with features that help with hearing. Apple added a special chip in the last AirPods Pro, which had some neat sound features. We can expect more of that in the future!
